Orders are typically processed within 12 to 24 hours (business days) and are shipped by Canada Post Expedited or Canada Post / USPS if shipping to the USA. Delivery times vary by region and time of year (Holidays are especially busy) and due to COVID we can’t currently guarantee a delivery date. If your order is urgent, please contact us directly and we can look into faster shipping methods such as UPS and FedEx.
By offering refills we have saved thousands of bottles from being discarded. There are currently two ways to refill your liquid chalk. The first way is to bring it into one of our retail locations which offer over-the-counter filling of bottles. It’s typically around $6 (CAD) for a refill. You can also refill your 50ml Personal Bottle at home using our Refill Pack, which can replenish a bottle 6 times while greatly reducing waste.
Rosin is the hardened sticky sap that comes off of pine trees, which is pulverized and added to many other brands of liquid chalks. If you have seen amber, well that is what happens to sap when it accumulates and hardens over time… likely including when its applied to rock via chalks, leading to premature polishing of holds.
Because of the potential for long-term, permanent damage to our climbs we feel that rosin has absolutely no place as an ingredient in chalks - liquid or dry.
How can you tell if your chalk has rosin? Look for the following ingredients. You can also sometimes tell if a chalk has rosin if your hands retain a sticky feeling after washing.
We get this a lot! Liquid chalk doesn’t need to smell terrible - we add a small amount of citrus scent to cut down the harsh smell of alcohol. It does not affect grip, so you can crush your problem and smell darn good doing it!
