I was gifted the Chalktopus, and wanted to get a second for my partner, who is also a climber. I found this bucket and was immediately obsessed. It is so well thought through. The chalktopus material around the outside of the bucket allows for wonderful chalk spread, but that's not the best part. The shape keeps the bag from tipping over and spilling out all the chalk, the closure for the bag prevents the chalk from spilling while on the go, the brush holders, and convenient pouches are in just the right places. THEY EVEN PUT A SECOND HANDLE INSIDE THE BUCKET SO YOU CAN MOVE IT AROUND THE GYM WITHOUT HAVING TO CLOSE IT AGAIN. Its design is sublime.
I’ve been using this chalk for a year now (with the chalktopus of course) and I think it’s the best quality/price out there!
This is tier A chalk.. It's grippy, it's eco-friendly and at a reasonable price. I haven't bought any other brand since I've tried midnight chalk.

I love my new little buddy! Finally not showering chalk everywhere when I pull my hand out. I also appreciate the reassuring squish when I’m getting nervous on the wall.
Some alternative chalk causes problems for my skin, but this chalk works great and doesn’t dry my nails or skin out. Great chalk ball and chalk.
Great quality brush and one of the only vegan ones on the market I could find! My only tweak would be to make the handle thinner, its too big for some chalk bag brush slots
